Mets' Comeback Victory! 😎

What a game, Mets fans! It was a tense start with the Phillies getting on the board early thanks to a home run from Kyle Schwarber. For most part of the game, the Mets couldn't quite get the rhythm going. We faced a lot of trouble early on with plenty of strikeouts, but all of that changed in the 8th inning! 💥

Turning Point - The 8th Inning Magic ✨

The excitement began when Francisco Lindor worked a crucial walk and Francisco Álvarez delivered a sweet single to center. With Harrison Bader running for Álvarez and a walk setting him into position, it was Mark Vientos who brought Bader home and tied it all up. That set the stage for some spectacular plays: Brandon Nimmo came through with a clutch single, bringing in Lindor. Pete Alonso then added a sac fly, followed by an outstanding single from Jose Iglesias. Pinch-hitter J.D. Martinez kept the fire going with a single. The inning finished with Starling Marte also sacrificing to send Iglesias home. In total, the Mets posted a stunning five runs! 🔥

Closing It Out – The 9th Inning Finish 🏆

In the 9th, after an impressive single by Bader and with Bader scoring on a timely single by Nimmo, the Mets extended their lead to 6-1. Despite a short rally attempt from the Phillies, with Clemens doubling in J.T. Realmuto to notch their second run, Ryne Stanek closed the door confidently to secure the win for us, 6-2. Mets fans, it was an electrifying night, a solid comeback, and great way to come out on top of the Phillies! Let's keep the momentum going! ⚾🎉
