Game Start: A Rough Beginning
The game might have started with a Mets dawn, but it surely ended with a Phillies "Phan-tastic" night! Things seemed gloomy for the Phils at the top of the first inning when the Mets took an early lead. After a series of hits from Francisco Lindor and Juan Soto, New York found themselves up 4-0
. Starling Marte was a menace, driving in two with a well-placed double to left. But fear not, fellow Phillies fans - the game was far from over!Striking Back: The Comeback Begins
The first couple of innings were tough, but our boys stayed resilient. The game couldn't stay quiet for too long with heavy hitters in the lineup. In the bottom of the 4th, Otto Kemp showed his power with a smashing 433-foot homer to center field, bringing home Nick Castellanos and cutting the Mets’ lead in half, 4-2. This was just the spark we needed!
Turning the Tide: The Phillies Take Over
The heart-stopping action continued in the 6th inning when Kemp and Castellanos once again ignited the fire with a pair of doubles, knotting things up at 4-4. With Harrison Bader's single bringing Kemp home, we took the lead at 5-4!
To top it off, Bryce Harper extended our lead to 6-4 with a clutch infield single, allowing Brandon Marsh to score. The momentum shift was palpable, and the Citizens Bank Park crowd was electric! 
Securing the Win: Phillie Finish
Our bullpen showed up big time, shutting down any chance of a Mets rally. Duran came in strong in the 9th inning, striking out the side and sealing the game with a 6-4 victory for the Phillies! This comeback was a testament to the grit and determination of our boys in red and white. What a win!
