Domination from the Get-Go! ⚾️

What a spectacular game for our Pittsburgh Pirates as they absolutely dominated the New York Mets with a stunning 12-1 victory! The game started with an explosive first inning where Andrew McCutchen's walk set up a perfect opportunity for Bryan Reynolds, whose double threw the Mets into a defensive frenzy. Following up, Ke'Bryan Hayes delivered a crucial single, bringing both McCutchen and Reynolds home. But the offensive fireworks didn’t stop there—Oneil Cruz and Tommy Pham each homered, setting the tone early and putting the Buccos up 5-0. Talk about a first inning fury! 🎉

Cruise Control by the Pirates! 🚀

Holding the lead steady, the Buccos didn’t slack off; in the second, Henry Davis made clever base running moves leading to another run thanks to a sacrifice fly by McCutchen. Come the 5th inning, Reynolds showcased his power again with a stunning 421-foot homer to center, while Hayes and Pham combined efforts increased our lead even further. Cruz added yet another homer in the 7th, affirmatively extinguishing any slight hope the Mets had left. It was all Pirates all day, holding the Mets to just a solo home run by Luis Torrens in the 5th. 🏴‍☠️

Concluding the Masterpiece 💥

By the final innings, our Buccos put the final nail in the coffin. Alexander Canario knocked in another run following his pinch hitting, and Spencer Horwitz hit a sacrifice fly, sealing our 12-1 triumph. We didn’t let up defensively either, with crucial plays in the field ensuring the Mets could hardly touch base. Solid pitching rotations were key too; our bullpen kept cool under any pressure, making easy work of every Mets batter stepping up. The Pirates locked the game down with no chance of a Mets rally, finishing off strong in the 9th inning with Ke'Bryan Hayes playing a pivotal role. Today was a domination in every sense—it’s a fantastic time to be a Pirates fan! Let's go Bucs! 🖤💛
