The game didn’t start as planned for our Mets as the Cardinals took an early lead in the first inning with Lars Nootbaar scoring after an infield single from Masyn Winn. The final nail came in the ninth inning with Luisangel Acuña's sacrifice fly allowing Taylor to score, closing the game with a solid 9-3 lead.
