Unstoppable in Extras: Mets Take Down Nationals 7-2 in 10 Innings! 
What a game, Mets fans! Our boys pulled off an incredible 7-2 win over the Nationals in extra innings. Let's dive into the key moments that led to this fantastic victory.Early Innings: Pitcher's Duel 
The game started as a classic pitcher's duel. Both teams were unable to get any runs across the plate in the first couple of innings. The Nationals managed to score first in the 3rd inning when CJ Abrams reached on an infield single, allowing Senzel to score. They added another run in the 5th, thanks to a fielding error by Pete Alonso.Lindor Strikes Back 
Our bats came alive in the 6th inning when Francisco Lindor homered to left (403 feet) to get the Mets on the board. This got the momentum swinging back our way.Locked In Going Into the 8th Inning 
The 8th inning was crucial. Francisco Lindor doubled to the left, and Brandon Nimmo singled him home to tie the game at 2-2. Nimmo even stole second base, but we couldn't capitalize further in that inning. Heroic 10th Inning! 
Now, let's talk about that jaw-dropping 10th inning. Luis Torrens and Taylor got us started. It was Jose Iglesias who doubled to right, bringing Taylor home and giving us the lead at 3-2. Nimmo and Vientos followed up with clutch hits to extend our lead. Then, to seal the deal, Pete Alonso smashed a 2-run homer (382 feet) to bring in Ben Gamel, making it 7-2.Closing It Out 
In the bottom of the 10th, our reliever Núñez shut things down, securing the win with a fly out, a strikeout, and a lineout to left.What a thrilling game! Our Mets pulled through when it mattered most. Let's keep this momentum going!
