A Tough Game for the Orioles
Last night's game at Camden Yards was a rough one for us Orioles fans as the Yankees showcased their power at the plate. The game began with a bang for the Yankees as Trent Grisham, Aaron Judge, Ben Rice, and Cody Bellinger all homered in the first inning. Our starting pitcher struggled early, and by the middle of the 1st inning, we were already down 0-5. The Yankees extended their lead throughout the game, and despite some valiant efforts, we couldn't claw our way back.Orioles' Offense
Our bats were mostly silent in the early innings against the Yankees' pitching. Cedric Mullins, Adley Rutschman, and Gunnar Henderson were unable to get on base initially, making it difficult to counter the Yankee onslaught. We finally got on the scoreboard in the 6th inning when Dylan Carlson grounded out, allowing Emmanuel Rivera to score. We saw a glimmer of hope when Gunnar Henderson homered in the 7th inning, bringing some excitement to the home crowd. Ryan Mountcastle added another run with a sacrifice fly in the 9th inning, scoring Heston Kjerstad.Looking Ahead
Although we suffered a 3-15 defeat, there's always hope in baseball, and each game is a new opportunity. We need to regroup and focus on our strengths. The Yankees may have won tonight, but the energy of Birdland remains strong! We are proud of our players—mistakes happen, and we'll come back even stronger. Let's rally behind them for the next game. Go Orioles!
