A Strong Start for the Yankees
What a game, Yankees fans! The showdown against the Kansas City Royals started with a bang as we saw our favorite team take control right from the get-go!
️ After a double from Gleyber Torres at the top of the 1st inning, Juan Soto came through with a single to right, bringing Torres home for an early lead. That's right—our Bronx Bombers were on the board first, and it was just the beginning! 
Solid Defense and Key Hits
The Royals were unable to break through our stellar defense, with strikeouts piling up as Massey and Pasquantino couldn't connect with Gerrit Cole's trumpeting pitches. Meanwhile, our Yankees didn't let up—though scoring was a bit quieter through the early innings, Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge delivered crucial hits that pushed our advantage further, with Stanton lining a single to center in the 6th and Judge making his presence known with a clutch double. Go Yankees!
Holding Strong Till the End
Though the Royals attempted a rally in the 6th with a run by Witt Jr. off Vinnie Pasquantino's double, our boys stayed strong, refusing to let the momentum shift. Key defensive plays, like those by Holmes and Weaver in the last innings, shut down any chances the Royals might have hoped for. In the end, a combination of solid pitching and relentless hustle secured us the 3-1 victory!
