Yankees Power Surge Early 
What a rollercoaster of a game, Yankees fans! We came out of the gates strong against the Dodgers. In the top of the 1st inning, Aaron Judge set the tone with a monster 446-foot homer to center field, giving us an early lead. This was followed up by Austin Wells in the 2nd inning, who smacked a 382-foot homer to right center, keeping the momentum going. Trent Grisham then joined the party with his own two-run blast, putting us up 4-1 by the middle of the second. And let's not forget Paul Goldschmidt who delivered with his solo shot in the 3rd inning, boosting us to a solid 5-2 lead. What an electrifying start!
Dodgers Fight Back in the Middle Innings
Despite our strong start, the Dodgers didn't go quietly. Shohei Ohtani showed off his talents and closed the gap with his second homer of the game in the 6th inning, bringing the Dodgers back within striking distance. Our pitching staff ran into trouble, and before we knew it, the Dodgers put together a rally with Freddie Freeman and Andy Pages leading the charge. Pages' two-run single had the Dodgers ahead 6-5 by the end of the 6th inning. It was a tough inning for us, watching as the lead slipped away.
Yankees Can't Rebound in the Late Innings
Despite our massive efforts, the Dodgers held strong. Judge doubled in the 7th, but we couldn't capitalize further. The Dodgers extended their lead to 8-5 with a clutch hit from Andy Pages in the 7th inning again, leaving us behind. In the final innings, we couldn’t get the bats going; Grisham did give us a glimmer of hope with a single in the 9th, but it wasn’t enough. We swung for the fences, but alas, it wasn't our night as the game ended 8-5 in favor of the Dodgers.
Yankees fans, chin up! We'll be back stronger. Let’s give our boys some support as they take on the next game!
