Early Momentum for the Phillies
The Yankees took an early lead in the 1st with Alex Verdugo scoring on a fielder's choice. But we quickly answered back when Kyle Schwarber walked and Alec Bohm doubled to bring him home, tying the game 1-1 by the end of the 1st inning.We carried that momentum into the 2nd inning with J.T. The 10th and 11th innings were tense. Despite getting runners on base, we couldn't capitalize. The Yankees scored a run in the top of the 12th, thanks to a sacrifice fly by Verdugo, putting them up 7-6.With our backs against the wall, Realmuto and Weston Wilson couldn’t bring us back after Marsh flied out. Wilson struck out swinging, ending our comeback hopes .
