An Exciting Win for the Mariners! 🎉

What a thrilling game it was as our Seattle Mariners muscled through an 11-inning battle against the New York Yankees and came out on top with a remarkable 2-1 victory! The Mariners fan in me is absolutely ecstatic! 🎊

Strong Start for the Mariners Pitching Staff

Our pitchers definitely brought their A-game tonight! In the first few innings, they kept the Yankees bats quiet. Aaron Judge and Cody Bellinger attempted to spark something for the Yankees, but a solid defensive effort including some key strikeouts kept them at bay. Hats off to our pitchers for making the Bombers look tame! 🎯

Raleigh Puts Mariners on the Board

In the bottom of the 4th inning, the game had its first major highlight when Julio Rodríguez singled to left and then Cal Raleigh stepped up, delivering a double to center that allowed Rodríguez to score! That run put our Mariners on the board with a 1-0 lead. It was the boost of momentum we needed! ⚾

A Nail-Biting Finish

After the Yankees tied it up in the 9th, tension filled the air, but our Mariners were not backing down. Into extra innings we went, and in the 11th, it was J.P. Crawford who delivered the knockout punch with a single to left, scoring Leody Taveras from third. The crowd went wild as the Mariners sealed the win, showcasing the resilience and team spirit we've come to admire. 🙌

The dedication and grit displayed by our Mariners tonight were just outstanding. Let’s keep the momentum going, Seattle fans! Go Mariners! 💙💚
