In a thrilling game, our beloved New York Yankees edged out the Tampa Bay Rays with a final score of 1-0. The Yankees showcased stellar defensive plays and pitching strength, securing a well-deserved victory at Tropicana Field.

The lone run of the game came in the top of the 2nd inning, initiated by Paul Goldschmidt who singled to right field and eventually scored on a clutch single by Trent Grisham into center. This small but mighty lead proved to be enough to outlast the Rays, despite having a few more opportunities to capitalize.
