A nail-biting game ended in glory for our Texas Rangers as we triumphed over the New York Yankees 7-4! Despite a series of early innings that left us biting our nails without scoring, our boys came through in the end!
Quiet Opening and Early Struggles
Both teams were quiet in the first few innings. Our pitching did an exceptional job in stifling the Yankees' strong hitters. Andrew Heaney was lights out before being relieved, and our defense held the line. In the 4th inning, Josh Jung electrified the crowd with a solo homer (386 ft) to get us on the board!

A tough 7th inning saw the Yankees take a 2-1 lead, and they didn't stop there. By the end of the 8th, they extended it to 4-1 with some timely hitting. The pressure was on, but our Rangers never gave up!
Comeback Heroes!
Smith set things in motion in the 8th by reaching first on a fielding error. That's when our team turned it up a notch. Semien advanced him with an infield single, and Josh Jung followed with an RBI single, narrowing the score to 4-2. Nathaniel Lowe added another run with a sac fly.
Bottom of the 9th with bases loaded, Wyatt Langford took the stage. And boy did he deliver—a walk-off grand slam to left field (407 ft)!
