Yankees Start Strong with Domínguez's Early Homer
The game started with some promising signs for our Yankees. In the top of the 2nd inning, Jasson Domínguez blasted a homer to right center, giving us an early 1-0 lead.
Back-and-Forth Battle as Judge Levels It
Our boys fought hard against the Blue Jays. In the 6th inning, after a couple of errors, Aaron Judge stepped up and crushed a 398-foot bomb to right center, bringing in Grisham and tying the game once again, 4-4.
Victory Slips as Blue Jays Charge Forward
But alas, the tide turned. The Blue Jays surged ahead in the bottom of the 6th and 7th innings, sparked by a homer from Bichette and honest mishaps in the field. Despite our valiant efforts, their lead extended to 8-4 by the 7th inning. In the end, we couldn't rally enough in the final innings, ultimately dropping the game, 8-4. However, there's plenty to be proud of in tonight's performance and undoubtedly lessons to carry forward. Tomorrow’s a new day, and our Yanks will be back stronger. Let's go, Yankees!
