Blue Jays Start Strong

What an incredible game! The Jays came out swinging against the Yankees and never looked back. In the bottom of the first inning, Isiah Kiner-Falefa singled to left, setting the stage for Vladimir Guerrero Jr., who smashed a two-run home run to right center. It was a fantastic way to kick off the game and put the Jays up 2-0 early! 💥

Build Up and Dominance

By the fourth inning, the Jays extended their lead to 3-0 thanks to an RBI double from Alejandro Kirk. Things got even better in the sixth inning. George Springer started with a double, followed by contributions from Daulton Varsho and Kirk, padding our lead to 4-1. Isiah Kiner-Falefa then singled again to make it 5-1 before Vladimir Guerrero Jr. cleared the bases with a three-RBI double, pushing the score to 8-1. What a performance! 🔥

Sealing the Win

The Blue Jays were relentless. In the eighth inning, Guerrero Jr. added another RBI single, bringing Isiah Kiner-Falefa home and making it 9-1. The Yankees managed to score two runs in the top of the ninth with a home run from Austin Wells, but it wasn’t enough. Final score: 9-3. 🏆

Our boys delivered a stellar performance today both at the plate and on the mound. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was unstoppable, and our pitchers kept the Yankees at bay. Let's keep this momentum going, Blue Jays! 💙⚾
