We did it, Nationals fans! What a game it was as our Washington Nationals took on the New York Yankees and emerged victorious with a score of 3-0. It was a classic display of stellar pitching and timely hitting.

Our pitchers were on fire! From the get-go, our arms kept the Yankees' lineup at bay. Waldichuk and Pérez showcased their laser focus, ensuring that the Yankees remained scoreless. The Yankees just couldn't get anything going against us, thanks to our incredible defense and tactical pitching changes.Clutch Hits
It was all about seizing the right moments, and boy, did we do that! In the bottom of the 4th inning, Dylan Crews strategically advanced bases to put himself in scoring position. Then, due to a fielding error by the Yankees, Luis García Jr. reached base, allowing Crews to make it home with House delivering a crucial sacrifice fly. Fast forward to the bottom of the 5th, James Wood brought the heat with a jaw-dropping triple, sending Tena and Millas home. With plays like that, how could we not win?
Securing the Win
With strategic fielding changes throughout the game, including fresh legs like Joey Wiemer and Robert Hassell III, we kept the defense airtight. Our bullpen was nothing short of phenomenal, with Lovelady closing out the game and solidifying our victory.A huge shoutout to all of our Nationals players for their effort and dedication.
