Game Summary: Athletics Dominate Diamondbacks with a 9-4 Victory! 
Hey A’s fans! What a game it was against the D-backs. It started a little rocky, but we turned it around and came out on top with a fantastic 9-4 win. Let's break it down inning by inning.
Rough Opening Inning But We Stayed Clutch 
The Diamondbacks took an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning after Ketel Marte doubled and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. singled him home. Randal Grichuk added another run with a ground-rule double. However, it was too early to count us out. JJ Bleday, Miguel Andujar, and Brent Rooker couldn't get a hit in the top of the 1st, but we knew more was to come.
Third Inning Turnaround 
The top of the 3rd inning was when we started to see our bats wake up. Zack Gelof walked and advanced to second on a strikeout. Andujar walked next, setting up Rooker to single in a run. Shea Langeliers followed with his own single to tie the game at 2-2. What a way to get back in it!
Taking and Extending the Lead in the 4th and 8th 
In the 4th, Daz Cameron got a single to keep our hopes up. Gelof and Max Schuemann also contributed, setting up a sacrifice fly to score Armando Alvarez and take the 3-2 lead. The bottom of the 6th saw the D-backs tie it again with a homer from Gurriel Jr., but we answered back big time in the top of the 8th. Tyler Soderstrom homered to start the inning, and Gelof’s triple brought in yet another run. Schuemann singled to extend our lead to 6-4.
Homers Galore in the 9th 
The 9th inning was a spectacle! Brent Rooker hit a monstrous 437-foot homer, followed by Langeliers going yard to make it back-to-back jacks. Cameron added a solo shot, ensuring we put the game beyond reach with a score of 9-4. Mason Miller came in and shut it down in the bottom of the 9th, striking out two and getting Marte to fly out to end the game.
A’s Rock the D-backs!
Our boys showed up big-time tonight! Rooker, Langeliers, Soderstrom, and Cameron all went deep, and Gelof had a crucial triple that really turned the tide. This win puts us in high spirits for the next game. Let's keep this momentum going, Oakland! Go A’s!
