Rockies Start Off Strong
What a rollercoaster game it was for our Colorado Rockies!

Athletics Rally Back
Much to our dismay, things started to unravel in the fourth inning. An error by Hunter Goodman let Butler score, cutting our lead to 3-1. The Athletics turned up the heat in the sixth, with Wilson delivering a double that pushed them ahead 4-3. Suddenly, we were playing catch-up and the momentum had shifted.

Seventh inning woes continued as Rooker and Langeliers both hit home runs, broadening the Athletics' lead to 7-3.
A Glimmer of Hope
Never count the Rockies out! In the bottom of the eighth, Ryan McMahon gave us a glimmer of hope with a solo homer to bring the score to 4-7. Along with Kris Bryant making it on base and Michael Toglia drawing a walk, we were still in the fight.
Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to close the gap, and the Athletics held on for the win. It's games like these that remind us of the highs and lows of baseball. Even though we didn't get the win today, there's always the next game. Let's keep cheering for our Rockies!
