An Exciting Start
Rockies fans, what a game!
Our boys lit up the field with an impressive win against the Athletics, finishing strong with a commanding score of 12-5. The action began early, but not before the Athletics snagged two runs in the top of the first thanks to a homer by Soderstrom. However, Brenton Doyle answered right back, slamming a homer to left field. Kris Bryant followed with a clutch single that allowed Ezequiel Tovar to score, tying the game 2-2.Dominant Middle Innings
The second inning saw some thrilling moments with Doyle continuing his outstanding performance with a double that allowed both Mickey Moniak and Tyler Freeman to cross the plate. Tovar kept the momentum with another double, driving in Doyle.
Ryan McMahon's single in the fourth inning added yet another run, bringing the score to 7-3 in favor of our Rockies.Closing the Game with Authority
The eighth inning turned into a spectacular display of offense!
Doyle and Tovar added more runs on singles, while Hunter Goodman joined the fun, hitting a single that brought in both Doyle and Tovar. The Rockies exploded for five runs this inning, pulling the score to 12-4. Despite a late run by the Athletics, it was too little, too late. Rockies fans, rejoice! This was a game full of action and excitement, showcasing the skill and teamwork of our players. Love seeing this team shine!
