Today's clash between our Oakland Athletics and the Kansas City Royals was a thrilling yet ultimately frustrating encounter that ended in a 1-1 tie. Lawrence Butler led off the game with a single but was caught stealing, setting the tone for a taut contest. The deadlock was finally broken in the bottom of the 5th when Cavan Biggio homered for the Royals, putting us on the back foot. However, our boys didn't waver! In the top of the 6th, Luis Urías came through with a clutch single that brought in Henry Bolte to even the score.
