A Tough Loss for the Royals
Hey Royals fans!

Early Momentum and Royals Lead
In the early innings, we saw some strong defensive plays, and our pitchers kept the game tight. In the bottom of the 3rd inning, Kyle Isbel's double followed by Maikel Garcia's sacrifice bunt quickly put the pressure on the Athletics. Then, Bobby Witt Jr. delivered with a fantastic double to bring Isbel home for the first run of the game!
Athletics' Comeback
Sadly, the game turned in the top of the 6th inning when Austin Wynns hit a towering two-run homer off Schreiber, tying the score at 2-2. Our pitching continued to battle, but the Athletics managed to edge ahead with a solo homer from Nick Kurtz in the 9th inning. That proved to be the game-changer.
Royals' Last Stand
We had our chances in the bottom of the 9th, with Drew Waters leading off with an infield single. But, despite a valiant effort, we couldn't bring him home. The Athletics managed to hold on to their one-run lead as Nick Loftin, Jac Caglianone, and Tyler Tolbert couldn't quite break through in the clutch.Final Thoughts
It was a close game filled with tension and excitement, but unfortunately, it didn't go our way. We played hard, and there were some great moments to build on. Let's keep supporting our Royals—better days are ahead! Keep believing, and we'll bounce back stronger than ever!

Go Royals!
