Another Tough Loss for the A’s 
Our Oakland Athletics faced off against the Los Angeles Angels, but unfortunately, the final score wasn’t in our favor as we fell 5-2. Let's take a look at how it all went down.First Taste of Action

We started off strong defensively with pitcher keeping the Angels off the scoreboard. It looked promising for a bit, especially after Miguel Andujar doubled to left in the first inning. But, we couldn't capitalize, leaving him stranded on second. Grabbing the Lead 
We drew first blood in the 2nd inning! Armando Alvarez managed an infield single and stole second. A double by Max Schuemann brought in Alvarez to give us a 1-0 lead. Unfortunately, Kyle McCann was out at home due to runner's interference, ending our momentum.Stalemate through the Third and Fourth 
The Angels couldn’t score in the bottom of the 2nd, thanks to our strong pitching and defense. Both teams had a quiet 3rd and 4th inning with few hits and solid defensive plays, keeping the scoreboard unchanged at 1-0.The Turning Tide 
The 6th inning was our undoing. The Angels managed to score five runs. It all started with Luis Rengifo and Willie Calhoun's walks and Mickey Moniak getting hit by a pitch to drive in a run. Zach Neto then cleared the bases with a double to make it 4-1. Matt Thaiss added another run with a double, extending the lead to 5-1.Attempted Rally 
We never gave up, though! In the top of the 9th, Armando Alvarez walked, followed by a single from Kyle McCann, pushing Alvarez to third. Max Schuemann brought Alvarez home with a sacrifice fly, cutting the deficit to 5-2. Unfortunately, we couldn't muster any more runs, and the game concluded with a groundout by Daz Cameron.Final Thoughts 
It was a tough loss for our A’s despite a solid effort from Miguel Andujar and Armando Alvarez. Our team showed flashes of excellence, but we couldn't put it all together. We’ll bounce back and come out stronger in the next game! Let's go A’s!
