Dominant Performance from Brewers
What a game for the Milwaukee Brewers! The Brewers left no doubt in today's matchup against the Oakland Athletics, dominating their opponent with a stunning victory of 14-1.
First Inning Fireworks
It all started in the bottom of the 1st inning, where our boys set the tone. Brice Turang got things going by singling to right, followed by two stolen bases that applied pressure right off the bat. Christian Yelich walked his way to first and both runners capitalized on a throwing error by the A's catcher. Our offense kept rolling as Rhys Hoskins and Sal Frelick each contributed, pushing our lead to 4-0. An exciting start and the fans could feel it!
Steady Offense & Stellar Pitching
The Brewers just kept piling on the runs. In the 2nd inning, Jackson Chourio drove in Turang with a crucial double, followed by a home run from Rhys Hoskins in the 3rd, stretching the lead to 6-0. By the end of the 4th, we were sitting pretty at 8-0 thanks to some clutch hitting. And let's not forget about the job our pitchers did! Striking out batter after batter, they proved the Athletics had their work cut out for them.
7th Inning Explosion
And just when we thought it couldn’t get better, the Brewers exploded in the 7th inning! A combination of hits from Sal Frelick, Joey Ortiz, and a two-run single by Eric Haase punctuated an incredible offensive showcase. By the time Rhys Hoskins drove in two more with his single, we knew: today was ours.
Closing It Out In Style
To cap off this unforgettable game, our defense and pitching remained as solid as ever—Alexander ensuring that the A's went quietly in the 9th. As the final strike was called, celebrations erupted. A perfect culmination to an exceptional team effort.
