Athletics Silence the Bombers in a Pitcher's Duel
What a day for the Oakland Athletics!

From Ruiz being picked off after getting on base to a beautiful double play turned by the A's, the action was subtle yet intense.
However, the real drama began in the 8th when the A's started to rally. Seth Brown and Lawrence Butler coming in for some clutch at-bats really turned the tide, with Butler walking to load the bases. Unfortunately, they couldn't capitalize that inning, but it set the tone for what was to come.
