Athletics Triumph in Seattle! 🌟

What a game for the A's, fellow Athletics fans! Our boys took down the Seattle Mariners 4-2 in an intense game full of exciting plays and a few nail-biters. From start to finish, our team showcased skill and resilience.

Strong Start in the 4th Inning ⚾️

The game started quietly, with both teams struggling to score in the initial innings. However, our bats came to life in the 4th inning, thanks to a show of power from Shea Langeliers who hit a two-run homer, bringing Brent Rooker home and putting us in the lead, 2-1. His 357-foot shot to left was just the spark we needed to shake Seattle’s confidence.

Key Plays and Fantastic Pitching 💪

Mariners tried to respond, but our defense was rock solid. Although a couple of wild pitches and an error allowed Seattle to keep it close, our pitchers were not to be outdone. After Randy Arozarena walked in the 6th and later scored, making the score 3-2, it looked like they might rally. Thanks to crucial relief pitching by H. Harris and Murdock, we held them off!

Our hitting impressed again in the top of the 7th with a deft infield single by Brent Rooker, who brought Jacob Wilson home thanks to a fielding error by the Mariners pitcher. At 4-2, our lead was cemented. It was really the pitching, though, that locked this game down for us.

Closing it Out with Dominance 🎉

The Mariners couldn’t get past our pitchers, with Ferguson and Miller dealing decisive blows in the 8th and 9th innings. Ferguson handled the heart of the Seattle order, while Miller delivered the final strikeout to Julio Rodriguez in the 9th to wrap things up.

All in all, a great team effort and a sweet win for the A's! We’ll keep this momentum rolling into our next game. Go A's! 💚💛
