Pitching Duel in Seattle
It was a tough night for us A's fans as we faced off against the Mariners in Seattle. The game was close
, with both teams' pitchers showcasing their skills and keeping the score low. It was a classic duel on the mound with neither side giving an inch in the early innings.Soderstrom Shines Momentarily
One of the bright spots for us came in the top of the 4th inning when Tyler Soderstrom launched a solo home run to left center

Our lead didn't hold for long— in the bottom of the 6th, Julio Rodríguez crushed a two-run homer, driving in Victor Robles to put the Mariners ahead 2-1. It was a tough pill to swallow as our offense struggled to respond. Despite our efforts, including a single by Soderstrom in the 9th, we couldn't string enough hits together to tie the game.A Battle Until the End
Ultimately, the Mariners came out on top in a tightly contested 2-1 game. We had some chances, like when Seth Brown walked in the 8th inning, but couldn't capitalize when it mattered. Props to our pitchers for holding the Mariners to just a couple of runs, and a special shoutout to our man Tyler Soderstrom for giving us something to cheer about. Better luck next time, A's!
