But it was the 2nd inning that really set the tone for the night. After a series of strategic plays that got Ty France and Luis UrĂas on base, Sam Haggerty singled to center, bringing France home. And then, fans were treated to a moment of pure bliss when Julio RodrĂguez launched a homer to center, driving in Haggerty and flooding the stadium with cheers that echoed far beyond the field.

Fast forward to the 5th inning, and the Mariners just kept the hits coming. Garver once again showed why he's a designated hitter to be reckoned with, sending a 411-feet homer into center and bringing RodrĂguez in for another score. Not wanting to miss out on the action, Seby Zavala hit a solo homer in the 6th, proving our lineup's depth and power.
