Battling Early On
Hey Ray's fans!
It looked like we had a promising start with Christopher Morel launching a solo homer in the 2nd inning, giving us a 1-0 lead. That was a beauty, sailing 423 feet! 
It felt like we had the momentum when Brandon Lowe belted another solo homer in the 3rd to bring us up 2-0! Our offense was looking strong early, and it felt very electric in the Tropicana Field. 
A Tight Contest
Unfortunately, things took a turn in the 4th inning, as Max Muncy tagged a homer for the Athletics, tying the game at 2-2.
It was a nail-biter for the next couple of innings. The Rays couldn't capitalize on several opportunities and left runners stranded. But, in the 7th inning, Danny Jansen answered back with a solo homer, tying us again at 3 all! 
What a clutch hit!Extra-Inning Heartbreak
Things were poised for a classic Rays finish, but it was a tough 10th inning for us. A sacrifice fly by the Athletics edged them ahead, 4-3. We gave it a solid effort in the bottom of the 10th with Jonathan Aranda getting on base and causing some balk-induced suspense, but unfortunately, we just couldn't pull through. Our guys fought tenaciously, and it's games like these that make you appreciate their grit. Let's shake it off and look forward to the next matchup! Stay positive Rays fans, as always, we got this!
