The Toronto Blue Jays put on a show as they secured a hard-fought 11-7 victory against the Oakland Athletics. A home game that kept us on the edge of our seats, the team did not disappoint! 
Early Innings Action - Strong Start
The game began with the Athletics taking a quick lead thanks to a solo homer by Soderstrom. However, the Blue Jays responded fiercely in the bottom of the 2nd inning. Ernie Clement got things rolling with a double, followed by a single from Myles Straw that drove Clement in to score our first run. More walks and a sacrifice fly by George Springer brought the score to 3-1 in our favor.
Tides Turn - Power and Patience at the Plate
By the 3rd inning, Clement struck again with a homer, while Addison Barger helped extend the lead with a walk and run. Our bats were on fire, and Bichette chipped in with a great walk leading to more scores. Despite a slight Athletics comeback attempt, our boys showed great resilience. Barger delighted fans once more with a solo homer in the 6th inning, and Bichette kept the runs coming. Our bullpen took control closing the game as Green shut the door in the final innings, securing the 11-7 victory.
