A Strong Start by the Phillies 
It was a rocky start for our Diamondbacks as the Phillies came out swinging. With Trea Turner and Bryce Harper getting on base early, Alec Bohm cashed in with a double, driving in two runs. We were down 2-0 before we even got a chance to bat, but as always, our boys showed resilience.Answering Back in the First 
In the bottom of the 1st, we saw some spark! Lourdes Gurriel Jr., Josh Bell, and Randal Grichuk strung together hits, giving us our first run of the game. Though we only managed one run in the inning, it was a sign of what was to come. Big 3rd Inning 
The 3rd inning was where our Diamondbacks truly turned the tide. Lourdes Gurriel Jr. got us started with a single, followed by another single by Josh Bell. A clutch double by Eugenio Suárez scored Gurriel Jr., and Adrian Del Castillo's single brought in two more runs! By the end of the inning, the scoreboard read 5-2, Diamondbacks! 
Defensive Dominance 
The 4th and 5th innings showcased our strong defensive game. Joe Mantiply and co. kept the Phillies hitters in check, and amazing fielding ensured they couldn't gain any ground. Special shoutout to Jake McCarthy for some brilliant plays in left field.Breaking it Open in the 5th 
Our 5th inning was a sight to behold! After Kevin Newman and Alek Thomas got on base, Geraldo Perdomo walked to load the bases. Then, Jake McCarthy delivered a bases-clearing triple to widen the lead to 8-2. What an inning!Holding the Lead 
The Phillies tried to rally in the 7th, scoring three runs, but our bullpen—including Dylan Floro—stood strong, keeping their scoring in check. They brought it to 9-5, but it wasn't enough to faze our guys.Adding Insurance Runs in the 7th 
As if an 8-2 lead wasn't enough, Corbin Carroll decided to hammer home a massive two-run homer! Jake McCarthy also chipped in with another RBI single, making it a commanding 12-5 lead. This game was ours for the taking!Closing it Out in Style 
Our closing staff delivered the final nail in the coffin. Paul Sewald took care of the 9th inning without any issues, sealing a dominant 12-5 victory over the Phillies.What a game, Diamondbacks fans!
