What a game, folks! Our Chicago White Sox claimed an electrifying 6-2 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies right here at Guaranteed Rate Field.

The game started a bit shaky with Bryce Harper quickly putting the Phillies on the scoreboard in the top of the 3rd after a solid double, bringing in two runs. But our boys fired back immediately! The bottom of the 3rd inning saw Colson Montgomery smash a booming homer to right field, bringing home Lenyn Sosa and tying the game 2-2.
Bats Caught Fire
The stars of the day? None other than Luis Robert Jr., who in the 4th inning blasted a homer to give us a lead we wouldn't relinquish. In the 8th, Lenyn Sosa once again came through with an RBI single, setting Colson Montgomery up, who capitalized on a Phillies error to extend our lead to 6-2. The Phillies' bullpen simply couldn't handle our bats today!
Closing It Out in Style
G. Taylor took the mound in the 9th inning, ensuring there was no comeback for the Phillies by striking out players left and right, culminating in a heart-stopping end to the game. Kudos to G. Taylor for sealing the deal with ease.
