Tigers Top the Phillies with Stellar 5th Inning! 
Hey Tigers fans! What a game today against the Phillies! We managed to secure a solid 4-1 win with a remarkable performance, especially in the 5th inning. Let's dive into the highlights! 
Pitchers Duel Early On
The game started with both teams struggling to get on base. The Phillies' attempt in the 1st inning was shut down, and our boys also couldn't capitalize. We saw some great defense early, keeping the scoreboard at a standstill through the first few innings.Breaking Through in the 5th Inning! 
The 5th inning was where we took control. Justyn-Henry Malloy kicked things off with a single, followed by Jake Rogers and Ryan Kreidler both getting on base! Matt Vierling then brought in the first run, and Andy Ibáñez followed up with a clutch single to center, sending both Rogers and Kreidler home. The excitement didn't stop there—Riley Greene tripled to right field, bringing Ibáñez in and solidifying our lead! 
Holding the Line and Closing the Game
Our pitching staff did a fantastic job holding the Phillies scoreless until the 9th inning. A special shoutout to Tarik Skubal and Matt Manning for their standout performance on the mound. Even when Bryce Harper hit a solo home run in the 9th, Jason Foley kept his cool and threw the pitches we needed to secure the win.Final Thoughts
