A Strong Start from Our Pitchers 
The Philadelphia Phillies might have kicked off the game at the Rogers Centre, but our Blue Jays showed no mercy from the very first inning! Bryson Stott and Trea Turner couldn't handle our pitchers' heat, striking out swinging. Harper followed with another swinging strikeout. Our defense started on fire – talk about a heart-pounding start! 
Offensive Fireworks in the 2nd Inning 
The bottom of the second inning was like a fireworks show, and the Blue Jays were the pyrotechnicians! Ernie Clement gave the Phillies a glimmer of hope with a foul out, but our boys were just getting warmed up. Davis Schneider and Myles Straw made sure to turn the tide with electrifying hits. The highlight? Bo Bichette going deep with a two-run homer, sending the crowd into a frenzy! The inning finished with our Blue Jays leading comfortably 4-0. 
Seizing Control and Never Looking Back 
The Blue Jays were relentless, especially in the third inning when Alejandro Kirk and Myles Straw drove in more runs to widen our lead. Add to that Tyler Heineman's timely singles, and it was a masterful offensive showcase. A quick shout-out to Kirk for helping extend our advantage with a crucial RBI single in the bottom of the 6th, ensuring our lead remained unchallenged at 9-1.Closing the Game in Style 
By the time we headed into the final innings, our pitchers made it clear there was no coming back for the Phillies. A dominant display by our bullpen had Harper and Schwarber swinging in the wind – two more strikeouts added to our tally! The relievers shut the door hard on the Phillies, solidifying our 9-1 victory. It was pure team dominance at its finest! 
This game was a strong statement by our Blue Jays, and everyone in the roster played their part. Let's keep this momentum going and show the rest of the league what we're made of! Go Jays!
