In the bottom of the 2nd inning, Austin Riley got the Braves on the board with a towering homer to center field, traveling a whopping 423 feet! This set the tone for the rest of the game and got everyone in the stands pumped up! The Braves finished the inning leading 1-0.Explosive 3rd Inning!
The Braves truly came alive in the 3rd inning. Luke Williams started off with a single to right, followed by a walk from Jarred Kelenic. Ozzie Albies then singled to left to load the bases. This set the stage for Marcell Ozuna, who cleared the bases with a clutch double to left. Matt Olson kept the momentum going by singling to center, scoring Ozuna. Finally, Adam Duvall doubled to left to bring in Austin Riley, making the score 6-0. Wow, what an inning!

The Braves' pitchers were on point throughout the game. They managed to keep the Pirates scoreless until the 9th inning. Special shoutout to Charlie Morton, who pitched a fantastic game before being relieved by Chavez and later Lee and Bummer. The pitching staff struck out a total of 12 Pirates and allowed just one run in the top of the 9th.Closing it Out in Style!
Despite allowing a run in the 9th inning, Bummer quickly regained control and ended the game by striking out Jared Triolo swinging. Braves fans erupted in cheers as the final out was made, sealing a spectacular 6-1 victory.Final Thoughts
