First Inning Fireworks!
The Buccos came out swinging right from the get-go! Andrew McCutchen led off with a walk and immediately stole second. Bryan Reynolds then launched a massive 426-foot homer to right, bringing Cutch home to put us up 2-0! After a couple of outs and another walk to Rowdy Tellez, Nick Gonzales singled to right to score Tellez, making it 3-0! We're off to a hot start!Pirates Dominate Early Innings
In the third inning, our bats stayed hot. With bases loaded, Edward Olivares singled, scoring both Reynolds and Tellez, extending our lead to 5-0! Another sacrifice fly by Yasmani Grandal brought in Tellez to make it 6-0. The Reds couldn't catch a break with their pitching!Jared Triolo Goes Deep!
Top of the 5th inning, Jared Triolo decided to join the party by hammering a 361-foot homer to left, with Gonzales on base, pushing our lead to 8-0. What a show by our offense!Reds Fight Back, But Not Enough
The Reds showed some life in the 5th. Steer doubled and Stephenson tripled, bringing their score up to 3 after a couple of hits. They tried making some noise again in the 6th, scoring due to a fielding error, but our lead was just too big for them to overcome!Solid Closing by the Bullpen
Despite a couple of hiccups, our bullpen held it together. Mlodzinski and Fleming shut the doors effectively, preventing a significant Reds comeback. Kudos to them for maintaining composure and sealing the win!Final Score: Pirates 9, Reds 5
