In the top of the 1st inning, Oneil Cruz set the tone by blasting a solo homer to center field (442 feet)! It was an absolute moonshot that immediately put us on the scoreboard. Joey Bart followed up with a single, but we couldn't capitalize further in the first.Pitching Dominance
Our pitching staff was untouchable today. It started with Paul Skenes, who was lights-out, striking out batters left and right. He received excellent support from our bullpen as well.
