Our boys demonstrated tenacity and grit right from the jump, with a thrilling second inning that got every Pirates fan's heart racing. Let's dive into today's game action! The top of the second inning saw our Pirates swinging for the fences. After Jack Suwinski doubled to left, Nick Yorke followed up with a crucial single that brought Suwinski home. Not letting up, Alexander Canario doubled to left, scoring Yorke and putting the Pirates ahead 2-0. Oneil Cruz then stepped up, blasting a magnificent 368-foot homer to left field, with Canario scoring alongside him. Suddenly, the Pirates were leading 4-0, making a strong statement early in the game!Reds Attempt A Comeback 
Our lead was challenged in the bottom of the second as the Reds' Elly De La Cruz launched a 415-foot home run with Spencer Steer on base, trimming our lead to 4-2. But the Pirates' defense, coupled with some excellent pitching, ensured those were the only runs the Reds would tally for the evening.Defense And Pitching Seal The Deal 
From the third inning onward, the Pirates delivered a defensive masterclass, shutting down the Reds' offense with clutch pitching and tight fielding. Duane Underwood Jr. and company spearheaded the bullpen's stellar efforts, keeping the Reds at bay. Connor Mattson and David Bednar put the final nail in the coffin during the ninth inning, with Miguel Santana closing the game out with his remarkable poise.
