A Solid Win in Houston! 
What a fantastic game for our Pittsburgh Pirates as we took on the Houston Astros and came out on top with a convincing 6-2 victory! 
There were some tense moments, but our Buccos held it together and delivered a solid win.Early Lead and Strong Defense 
The game started off with a lot of promise. In the top of the 2nd inning, Ke'Bryan Hayes reached on an infield single, followed by Connor Joe's single to right, putting Hayes on third. Despite a double play, Hayes managed to score, giving us an early lead! The defense also stepped up, with Jose Altuve and Alex Bregman being retired with ease in the bottom half.Building the Lead 
The 4th inning was a game-changer. Joe reached again on an infield single, and after an error by pitcher Brown, Joe made it all the way to third, allowing Joey Bart to score. Then, a double by Jared Triolo brought Joe home, pushing us to a 3-0 lead. Houston’s Yainer Diaz did hit a solo homer in the bottom of the inning, but our momentum was undeniable.Adding Insurance Runs 
Michael A. Taylor hit a two-run homer in the 6th inning, which was an absolute beauty, extending our lead to 5-1! Even after Houston scored again due to a fielding error, our Pirates didn’t let up. In the 8th inning, we capitalized on another error and a walk by Andrew McCutchen to bring the score to 6-2.Closing It Out with Precision 
The bullpen did an outstanding job. Colin Selby, Angel Perdomo, and Cody Bolton all pitched with precision, ensuring the Astros couldn't mount a comeback. Chris Stratton closed out the 9th inning proficiently, even after some base hits by the Astros. The final out with Jose Altuve striking out looking was the cherry on top!Looking Forward 
This win against a tough Astros team is exactly what our Bucs needed. It's always a joy to see the team perform so well both offensively and defensively. Let’s keep this momentum going and continue to show what Pittsburgh is made of!Let's go Bucs!
