Heartbreaking Ending in Miami
Hey, fellow Bucs fans, strap in as we recount today's tough battle against the Marlins where we fell short 3-2 in a tight contest
Off to a Promising Start
The game opened with a tense, scoreless first inning. Andrew McCutchen had us all on our feet in the top of the second with a monster homer to left field, giving us a 1-0 lead!

Pirates Take the Lead
In the fifth inning, it was hustle and grit that got us ahead. A walk by Endy Rodríguez paired with an error, allowed him to creep around the bases, and an infield single from Isiah Kiner-Falefa pushed him home. The Bucs were up 2-1!
Late-Inning Woes
The Marlins snuck back in with a solo homer in the seventh, and with the game tied, the tension mounted. We had our chances, but some baserunning miscues cost us, leaving stranded runners and missed opportunities. The Crushing Finish
Into the bottom of the ninth, it was anybody's game. A couple of small mistakes, including a wild pitch, gave the Marlins the walk-off win as Derek Hill sprinted home
