Dragon-Pitch at Philly
Well, it was a disappointing night for our beloved Pirates as they faced the Phillies in a pitching duel that left us biting our nails till the very end.

Strong Start, Quiet Finish
Andrew McCutchen gave us an early spark with a single in the 1st inning, and Spencer Horwitz followed with another hit, advancing Cutch to second. Unfortunately, that was the closest we got to crossing home plate. Our hitters were plagued with strikeouts as the Phillies' pitching held strong. Oneil Cruz struggled, striking out three times over the course of the game.Defensive Duel
Despite the lack of offense, there were still some notable defensive plays. Henry Davis managed a clean single to center in the 3rd, and Ke'Bryan Hayes got on base with a walk in the 7th, keeping the hope alive. But the Phillies' defense proved to be too much, preventing any significant momentum for our lineup. The game's lone run came during the 5th inning from a fielding fumble and choice that allowed Nick Castellanos to score. Pirates' pitching and defense did their best, preventing further damage, but our bats couldn't find a rhythm throughout the rest of the game.
Chin up, my fellow Pirates fans! The energy and spirit of our team never wavers, and we'll bounce back stronger in the upcoming games. Let's go Bucs!
