Pirates' Collapse in the Seventh Inning Leads to Loss Against the Cardinals (5-10)
Hey Pirates fans, we had a tough game against the Cardinals today, and it all fell apart in the seventh inning. Let's dive into the game's highlights and lowlights.A Shaky Start but Holding On
The game started with both teams struggling to get on the board. Isiah Kiner-Falefa, Bryan Reynolds, and Joey Bart went down quickly in the first inning. Our defense held strong with a solid first inning from our side, keeping the score at 0-0.Early Lead by the Cardinals
In the second inning, Brendan Donovan hit a homer, driving in two runs. We were looking to catch up but missed a few opportunities. Nick Gonzales and Bryan De La Cruz gave us hope but left stranded as Jared Triolo struck out to end the inning.Fourth Inning Surge
Our bats woke up in the fourth. Andrew McCutchen doubled, eventually scoring on a sacrifice fly by Bryan De La Cruz. Nick Yorke and Jared Triolo also got on base, and we managed to narrow the gap to 4-2.A Brief Lead! 
The sixth inning was a blast as Billy Cook hit a three-run homer! That gave us our first lead of the game at 5-4. But oh man, the joy was short-lived. Isiah Kiner-Falefa also hit a double, but we couldn't bring him home.Seventh Inning Nightmare 
The seventh inning? Let's not talk about it. Our bullpen imploded. Paul Goldschmidt reached on an error, setting the stage for a nightmare. The Cardinals scored six runs in this inning alone.
