Diamondbacks Seal Another Victory Over the Padres
What a day to be a Diamondbacks fan! With the perfect blend of pitching and offense, our boys clinched a satisfying 6-2 victory over the San Diego Padres.

Ketel Marte got us off to a promising start in the 1st inning, singling to left before Lourdes Gurriel Jr. brought him home with another single to center, scoring our first run. The key hit of the early innings came from Tyler Locklear, who blasted a 393-foot homer to left in the 3rd, increasing our advantage to 3-1. And let’s not forget about Corbin Carroll, who delivered a crucial sacrifice fly in the second inning and doubled in the fourth, extending our lead further.
Later on, Alek Thomas capped off our scoring with a stunning homer to right-center for 392 feet in the 8th inning, putting the icing on the cake for the Diamondbacks. This was a match full of excitement and joy that will definitely keep us riding high!
Pitching Brilliance
The pitching staff was no less impressive. They managed to keep the potent Padres lineup in check, allowing just two runs over the full nine innings. Our pitchers were clutch, getting out of multiple early jams, especially in the 1st inning when the Padres threatened but couldn't capitalize. Defense also played its role as they pulled off a few remarkable plays preventing additional scoring threats. Kudos to Hoffmann, Peralta, and Backhus for their relief appearances that ensured the Padres were kept off balance and unable to mount any comeback.
