Tough Loss in Arizona 
Hey everyone, Padres fan here with a heavy heart. Our boys took a rough beating against the Diamondbacks, closing out with an 11-2 loss. Let's dive into the happenings of the game. It's a tough one to swallow, but we stick with our team through thick and thin!Hot Start but Quick Cool Down
Our Padres started the game with some promise but quickly fizzled out. Luis Arraez struck out swinging, and Fernando Tatis Jr. followed him to the bench with another strikeout. Jake Cronenworth then flied out, ending the top of the 1st with no score. But, in the 2nd inning, we took an early lead thanks to Elias DÃaz's double that brought Nick Ahmed home. Padres 1-0!
Diamondbacks Strike Back 
However, the Diamondbacks showed why they are a tough team to beat. Our lead quickly vanished in the 4th inning as Arizona went on a scoring spree, turning the game around from 1-0 to an incredible 6-1 in their favor. Ketel Marte even homered to left center, bringing home Gabriel Moreno. Ouch! 
Failed Comeback Efforts
Jake Cronenworth tried to spark a comeback in the 6th inning. His ground out allowed Arraez to score, cutting the Diamondbacks’ lead to 7-2, but it just wasn’t enough. The Diamondbacks kept piling on the runs, including a solo homer by Eugenio Suárez in the 7th and a two-run homer by Randal Grichuk in the 8th, pushing the score to an insurmountable 11-2.Endgame Woes 
We made some defensive shifts, but the bats remained silent. Fernando Tatis Jr., Jake Cronenworth, and David Peralta couldn’t get any momentum in the 9th inning, sealing our fate. Final score: Diamondbacks 11, Padres 2.Looking Ahead
