Tough Night for Padres Against Guardians
Last night's game against the Cleveland Guardians was a tough watch for us Padres fans. We fell 0-7, and it was one of those nights where nothing seemed to go right.Solid Start by Guardians Pitching

The 5th inning was where it started to slip. After giving up a wild pitch to David Fry and a double to Daniel Schneemann, the Guardians took a 1-0 lead. Although we hoped to strike back quickly, our batters just couldn’t find the rhythm.Injury to Padres Hopes
The real damage was done in the bottom of the 8th inning. The Guardians went on a scoring spree, starting with an infield single by Bo Naylor and capped by a single from Brayan Rocchio and a sacrifice fly by Tyler Freeman. This inning added 6 more runs to their tally.
9th Inning Rally Falls Short
Jake Cronenworth started the top of the 9th with a single, giving us a glimmer of hope. But it was short-lived as Manny Machado lined out and Xander Bogaerts ended up on first due to a fielding error.
