Victory Over the Padres

Wow, what a game, folks! The Yankees took on the San Diego Padres, and they showed us what Bronx baseball is all about, sealing a sweet 12-3 victory. The evening started out as a stalemate, with both teams locked in scoreless innings until the Padres managed to put up a couple of runs in the 4th inning. But our boys in pinstripes weren't going down without a fight. ⭐

The Judge and the Turnaround

Our very own Aaron Judge brought us back into the action in the bottom of the 4th with a solo homer that cut the Padres' lead to just one. And then the fireworks started! Kudos to Ben Rice and Jasson Dominguez for setting the stage with a double and single, respectively. Cody Bellinger also worked the bases with a walk, keeping that 4th inning tied at 2-2.

Tidal Wave in the Seventh

The 7th inning was an absolute showstopper. What a marathon of runs for our Yankees! We sent 14 batters to the plate and piled up a monumental TEN RUNS. Highlights included a clutch two-bagger from Ben Rice and an awesome 3-run blast from Austin Wells that traveled an impressive 375 feet. That's what I call leading the charge!

Finishing Strong ⚾️

The pitching crew put the final nail in San Diego's coffin. Tyler Wade and the Padres couldn't muster any more runs, and our bullpen - hats off to Matzek and De Los Santos - sealed the deal. Credit to our defense, too, holding steadfast to prevent any late-game jitters.

Loving this team spirit, Yankees fans! Let’s keep this momentum going as we roll into the next series! 🗽💪
