The game started with a bang, and unfortunately for us, it wasn't in our favor. Jorge Soler homered to center field (478 feet) in the very first inning, giving the Giants an early lead. Our boys came up to bat but couldn't make anything happen as Charlie Blackmon, Brenton Doyle, and Ryan McMahon couldn't reach base.Giants Extend Their Lead
In the top of the 3rd inning, the Giants' Tyler Fitzgerald homered to center (434 feet), making it 2-0. Our defense managed to hold the line but couldn't produce offensively as we went hitless.Fighting Back
Finally, in the bottom of the 4th inning, we got on the scoreboard! Ryan McMahon walked, and then Brendan Rodgers came through with a clutch homer (376 feet) to left field, bringing us within one run at 3-2.Opportunities Missed
The 5th inning looked promising as Jacob Stallings singled to center, but unfortunately, Sam Hilliard struck out swinging and Aaron Schunk struck out swinging after a wild pitch that allowed Stallings to move to second. Charlie Blackmon then struck out looking, ending our chance to even the score.Pitchers Hold the Line
The rest of the game saw some stellar pitching and defense from both teams
