A Great Start for the Giants
Hey Giants fans!
What a fantastic game we had against the Rockies. The action started in the top of the first inning when the ever-reliable Rafael Devers sent a rocket flying 411 feet over the right field wall to put us on the board 1-0. It set the tone for the game, signaling that our Giants meant business tonight! 
Keeping the Pressure On
The third inning saw Patrick Bailey get hit by a pitch—never fun, but it worked in our favor as he stole second like a pro!
Drew Gilbert then smashed a 388-foot homer, bringing Bailey home and extending our lead to 3-0. This dynamic duo was the foundation of our early lead, and they only took things higher. 
In the fifth inning, Willy Adames drew a walk to bring in Christian Koss, followed by a crucial single from Dominic Smith scoring both Devers and Gilbert. Our Giants took the score to 6-0, keeping the Rockies trailing behind with no light in sight.
Sealing the Victory
The Rockies tried to rally in the sixth inning by scoring two runs, but they ultimately fell short against our relentless team. In the seventh, Adames put the nail in the coffin with a 393-foot homer, bringing home Gilbert once more, cementing our commanding lead at 8-2. The pitching and defense were just as solid, shutting down the Rockies' attempt to come back in the final innings.
