Rockies' Slow Start
It was a tough loss for our Colorado Rockies today against the San Francisco Giants. We struggled to get on the board early, with the top of the 1st starting off shaky as Rafael Devers smacked a two-run homer bringing Heliot Ramos home. Despite our efforts, we couldn't respond in the bottom of the inning as Tyler Freeman, Mickey Moniak, and Hunter Goodman all went down in short order.
Mid-Game Adjustments
In the 3rd inning, Hunter Goodman hit a crucial single to center, finally getting us on the board as Freeman scored and Moniak advanced to third. Unfortunately, our momentum was halted by back-to-back double plays, a frustrating trend throughout the match. In the 5th inning, Hunter Goodman again delivered, as he brought in Ryan Ritter to inch us closer at 2-5. Despite some promising performances, the Giants' bats were relentless, pushing our formidable bullpen with smart plays.
Thrilling Homers but Not Enough
The 7th inning was a spark of hope when Hunter Goodman smashed a thrilling 440-foot homer to left, bringing Freeman home and closing the gap to 4-5. It was an exhilarating moment for Rockies fans, lighting up Coors Field with energy!

Rockies always, win or lose!
