Rough Start for the Astros
The game started off on a rough note for the Astros as the Giants quickly took the lead in the top of the 1st inning. With Willy Adames on base after a walk, Wilmer Flores blasted a two-run homer to left, putting us behind 0-2 early on. Our beloved Jose Altuve, Isaac Paredes, and Yordan Alvarez all struck out swinging in the bottom half of the inning
Astros Fight Back
Though the Giants extended their lead to 5 runs, our guys showed resilience in the 2nd inning with Jeremy Peña walking and later scoring on a single by Zach Dezenzo. We closed the inning with a score of 1-5, displaying some fight
Falling Short, But There's Hope!
Our pitching finally settled down as Wade Jr. for the Giants homered in the 8th, making it 3-6. While the offense and pitching had their ups and downs, it was great to see flashes of brilliance from players like Alvarez and Dezenzo. Despite struggling to score in the latter innings, the Astros couldn't quite close the gap. The game ended with the Giants winning 6-3. It's only one game. We'll bounce back! Let’s rally and keep the faith in our Astros!
