Giant Start, But Tumultuous Finish
Hey Giants fans, another day at the ballpark but this one didn’t go our way

Cardinals Claw Back
Things looked good, but we weren’t safe for long. In the bottom of the 1st, the Cardinals' Paul Goldschmidt homered, bringing them close at 3-2

Defensive Errors & Struggles Begin
The turning point came during the bottom of the 4th. Alec Burleson cranked out a homer, driving in runs and putting the Cardinals ahead 5-4. Our momentum took a hit and despite our initial energy, we couldn’t seem to find the spark to catch up
Cardinals Take Control
By the bottom of the 6th inning, Burleson managed another home run. Adding insult to injury, Brendan Donovan and Masyn Winn added to the Cardinals' lead in the 7th making it 9-4
We had few chances later in the game but just couldn't convert. David Villar and Jorge Soler did well to get on base but our batters were shut down by the Cardinals' bullpen that stood strong.
Final Thoughts
It was a game that started with promise but turned into a tough pill to swallow. Our early lead fizzled out, and the Cardinals kept hitting dingers, leading to a final score of 9-4. It's disappointing, but let's keep our heads up and bounce back in the next game!

Go Giants!
