Thrilling Victory in Extra Innings

What a game, Diamondbacks fans! 🐍 Our Arizona Diamondbacks secured a stellar 8-4 victory over the Seattle Mariners in a nail-biting extra-inning showdown. From the very start, we knew it was going to be an intense matchup, and our boys did not disappoint.

The Early Lead

It all started with Corbin Carroll lighting up Chase Field with a solo home run in the bottom of the first inning, giving us an early 1-0 lead. Our pitching staff kept the Mariners at bay for several innings, maintaining our advantage as the game progressed.

Momentum Builders

In the bottom of the fifth, a clutch single from Alek Thomas set the stage for Ketel Marte's RBI single, extending our lead to 2-0. Josh Naylor and Lourdes Gurriel Jr. further drew cheers from the crowd with key hits in the seventh, giving us a solid 4-0 cushion.

Mariners' Late Rally Revoked

The Mariners managed to catch up in the ninth, tying it at 4-4 with an unexpected surge. But our bullpen held firm in extra innings, thanks to standout performances from our relief pitchers, including Beeks and Thompson.

Naylor Seals the Win with a Blast

And then came the moment we all were waiting for. In the bottom of the 11th, with bases loaded, Josh Naylor crushed a memorable walk-off grand slam to secure the victory and send the stadium into euphoria. What a spectacular way to end it! 🎇

This game was a showcase of resilience and power from our Diamondbacks. Let's carry this momentum forward, team! 💪🏽
